The slower charging rate definitely isn’t ideal like I had mentioned, but it’s still been keeping up after testing. Price of thinness I suppose, would love to see something in this form factor with 15w MagSafe speed

I’m actually left handed and haven’t given this much thought, probably because it felt natural to me. I suppose it could be flipped to use the quick access without much issue? Good point though.

@joshfenn The downside of flipping the wallet is that you add an extra movement to access the cards or money from the right side. Anyways, thanks for the video!

Haha I love finding things like that! The thin power banks usually don’t have enough capacity for a main travel battery but it’s perfect for edc use to minimize the bulk

The shorts have been on my list to check out for a while! Can definitely imagine how great they are after some time with the pants. So many interesting fabric choices for the apres pants and shorts too, would make it easy to get something different in short form. Thanks for the rec and all the great info!

If you’re looking for denim like I had in the video, Levi’s would be the most obvious alternative. Tons of options and a lot under $100. Target’s goodfellow line is also solid for the price, they have one for $40 Levi’s: go.magik.ly/ml/23ebh/ Target: go.magik.ly/ml/23ebm/ Outside of these, clearance racks and thrifting have always been my go-to for cheaper finds. Nordstrom rack usually has some nice items too, not sure what specific styles you might be looking for.

Classic style for sure! I would definitely grab a few if I was in an overall warmer climate, the longer I live in the Pacific Northwest the more I realize how different our wardrobe is compared to so many other places.

This made my day to hear, thanks so much for the kind words! It’s been really fun expanding my horizons a bit with my clothing. So much to dive into with different styles and construction, it’s fascinating to have so much to dive into and learn. Adding color has been nice too. I still think the limited pallet is ideal for a small capsule wardrobe like I had for a few years after my weight loss, but expanding out now that my weight is settled has allowed me to add in way more variety and it’s been great.

So glad to hear it! I’ve had some well performing videos talking clothes/fashion topics, but it’s a bit hit or miss compared to the travel and edc gear videos. Probably an algorithm thing, it’s pretty punishing when you deviate from your ‘normal’ sometimes. Gotta stick with my gut though and go with what interests me - I still love edc and travel gear but have really enjoyed branching out a bit more this year

So happy to hear you enjoy the style for these videos, they’re always so fun to make! Performance can be a bit disappointing at times, I think it’s an algorithm issue mostly since it’s a deviation from my usual travel and edc gear videos. Same thing happened last week with a video about watches, saw a 98% drop in views from average. If you want a more low key sun hoodie though the Sahara from REI is excellent! Doesn’t have the nice pockets like this one but is a much simpler design and plenty breathable for the hot weather.

@@joshfenn Ouch, that makes total sense about the algorithm but Ive never thought about it much. But please don't let it pigeonhole you! I subscribed to you when I was into EDC/travel stuff around 2-3 years ago. My algorithm doesnt show me that stuff anymore but I still keep up with your videos!

So thankful for the support, it means a lot! Always going to mix in variety when I can, gotta keep the ‘business’ end of things healthy but part of that is exploring new topics and having fun. That’s how I got into travel and edc gear anyway too, I spent my first few years around here talking about weight loss and fitness. Thanks again!

Thanks! I don’t have that exact camera to test, but based on the dimensions is should fit well. The split in the middle divides up the depth a bit but 2”/53mm should still fit in one half just fine

I don’t fly internationally very often but I just recently got one from Tessan that’s been great - amzn.to/3VxzRdE For normal US plugs the UGREEN and Anker fan chargers have both been perfect the past few years
